Kelden Education Group Ltd

A UK education group across tuition, specialist and independent schooling

Kelden owns and runs education businesses in three areas: online tuition, in-person schools for children with special educational needs, and independent schooling. Each keeps its own specialist team. Kelden provides the standards and the company behind them.

The group

We bring specialist education businesses under one owner and hold every one of them to the same standard.

Our tuition business, our SEND schools and the independent schools we are developing each keep their own name and their own leadership. Kelden Education Group Ltd holds the contracts, manages fees and invoicing, and answers for every service under one set of policies on safeguarding, data protection and complaints.

Independent schooling with high academic expectations and a broad education beyond the classroom, for pupils ready to be stretched.

Our aim

Children who achieve highly, and who leave us well-rounded, confident and ready for what comes next.

Academic ambition

High expectations in every subject, with teaching that stretches pupils and the support they need to meet it.

A rounded education

Character, confidence, the arts, sport and responsibility matter as much as results, and we plan for them deliberately.

The right setting

Some children thrive online, some in a small specialist school, some in an independent school. The group exists to offer each child the right one.

How we work

Our policies

Safeguarding

Everyone who works with children in the group has an enhanced DBS check and completes safeguarding training before they start. Every school and service reports concerns to a named Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Safeguarding statement

Teaching

Teachers and tutors are recruited for subject knowledge and experience. We check qualifications and take up references before anyone works with a child, and we track how every pupil is progressing.

About the group

Governance

Contracts, fees and invoices are handled centrally by Kelden Education Group Ltd, through a regulated payment provider. Each business works to the same group policies and is accountable to the board.
